Port Strike Update (October 2024)
We hope this message finds you well. As you may have seen in the news, as of midnight Oct 1st the longshoreman at ports across eastern United States went on strike as the contract expired. This has
raised concerns across industries regarding potential delays and disruptions. This is something we have
not faced in almost 50 years and there will be impact to some projects. We want to take this opportunity to reassure you of our commitment navigate through this and do everything in our power to deliver great service despite the challenges outside our control.
Some projects that are currently in route will be impacted. Our team has already been in contact with those customers, and we will continue to communicate to ensure there are no questions left unanswered. For shipments due into port before the end of the year, we will continue to monitor and communicate changes as needed.
